Filmmakers' Association of the Canary Islands Microclima was born in 2016 with the aim of becoming a new observatory for film and audiovisual industry on the islands. The main mission is to serve as a forum for analysis, reflection about audiovisual policies in the Canary Islands, defending cinema as a cultural asset. The Association counts more than 50 Canarian filmmakers.
