Biofilmography
León, 1992. He is a filmmaker and audiovisual creator. Graduated in Architecture (ETSAM, UPM), he has completed the MasterLAV program in Contemporary Audiovisual Creation.
His audiovisual production has been the subject of three retrospective programs in 2019: “Jorge Suárez-Quiñones Rivas Film Anthology” and “Around the solar year: in-camera edited super-8 films by Jorge Suárez-Quiñones Rivas” (Tokyo Image Forum), and "The Films of Jorge Suárez-Quiñones and Guillermo Pozo" (CA2M Madrid).
International film festivals have programmed his work (Rotterdam, Filmadrid, Curtocircuíto, Now & After Moscow, Cineuropa, Márgenes, Alcine), as well as contemporary art museums and cultural institutions (CA2M, MUSAC, CGAC, CGAI, Salón, La Neomudéjar, Tokyo Image Forum, Spanish Pavilion of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018 “Becoming”, EightySix Art Institute Copenhagen, Artplay Design Center Moscow, Enfants Artspace Hamburg), also forming part of online archives.
