A competitive sample of short films directed by women for their exhibition and discussion in the town of Aranjuez (Madrid). An event carried out jointly with the Women’s Delegation of the City Council of Aranjuez and the Community of Madrid and that has the collaboration of the Festival Cortos con Ñ y Aprender a Vivir.

Conditions

Short films that meet the following conditions may participate:

-Directed or co-directed by one or more women. Man-woman co-directed jobs will also be accepted.

-Produced in the Spanish State.

-Done from January 1, 2021.

-With a maximum duration of 15 minutes.

-Filmed in any language. Whenever the original version is not in Spanish or that understanding is difficult, they must be submitted with subtitles in Spanish.

As a necessary requirement for the selection, the assistance of at least one member of the team is requested to present the short and hold a discussion with the audience. The organization will manage the transport.

The film department of the EspiralArte Cultural Association will participate in the selection process of the short films and, among other aspects, the feminist perspective of the film will be valued.

-Award for Best Performance

• If the Jury award for «Best Short Film» coincides with the audience award, the audience award will go to the second most voted.
