FESCIGU – Festival de Cine Solidario de Guadalajara

Throughout these years, FESCIGU has tried to bring to our audience the best of the world of short films, with a social, vindictive or simply humanistic content. All genres fit, as long as there is no apology for violence.

1. Participation in the Official Short Films Section and the Short Films Section of the FESCIGU is open to all Spanish filmmakers or those residing in Spain born before May 15, 2003.

2. The maximum duration of short films will be 30 minutes, and those that do not exceed 6 minutes will also automatically opt for the Requetecortos Section.

3. Fiction, documentary and animation genres are accepted, specifically excluding works of video art and those that have a marked institutional, tourist or advertising nature. The subject will be free, although works whose content apologizes for racism, sexism, xenophobia, intolerance, religious fanaticism and any kind of violence against human beings and their environment will not be accepted.

4. A maximum of two works per author will be admitted. These must have been completed after January 1, 2020. Works that have already been presented in previous editions of FESCIGU will not be accepted.

5. The names indicated in the registration form must coincide with those that appear in the credits. The organization assumes that whoever submits the work to the contest holds the rights over it, so that the contestants are solely responsible in case of non-compliance with this requirement.
