The Fantastic Film Festival of the Canary Islands ISLA CALAVERA is an annual event, based in Tenerife (Canary Islands), which is confirmed as a celebration of all the aspects surrounding the genre.

Conditions
- Short films and feature films assigned to the fantasy genre (horror, science fiction, fantasy, thriller …), both animation and real image in fiction and documentary modality.
- Productions of any nationality may be presented, in any language.
- All those short films whose production date is between 2019 and 2021 may participate.
- The short films presented must not exceed 20 minutes in duration. The festival keeps its right to make exceptions.

- Best Feature Film Screenplay ‘Jack Taylor’ Award for Best Actor in a Feature Film
- Best Actress in a Feature Film
- ‘Colin Arthur’ Award for Best Feature Film Special Effects
- “Fantastic Solidarity” Award for Best Short Film with solidarity and/or civic content
